ESRC Seminar Series on Synthetic Biology and the Social Sciences

The aims of this ESRC seminar series are:

  • To catalyse the development of a community of UK social scientists who are critically engaged in synthetic biology;
  • to explore the possibility of developing a 'post-ELSI' interdisciplinary research agenda for the analysis of this emerging field.

We have developed a working document called 'Towards a Manifesto for Experimental Collaborations between Social and Natural Scientists'. Comments are very welcome.
