Ann has an undergraduate degree in Agriculture and an MSc in Plant Pathology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and an MSc in Biosafety in Plant Biotechnology from the Universita Politecnica, Delle Marche, Italy. Ann has also worked for the Government of Kenya in various Biosafety Regulation roles.
Ann completed her PhD at Innogen, the Open University in November 2009.
