Data Sharing in the Biosciences

Innogen, in collaboration with the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), held a workshop on ‘Data sharing in the biosciences: a sociological perspective’ on the 26th June, hosted in Edinburgh by the National e-Science Centre.
The workshop brought together life scientists, bioinformaticians, research policymakers and social scientists to explore the changes in the generation, utilisation and governance of information in the biosciences and to consider the implications of these changes.
