EGN research impacts on policy, legislation and regulation at the national and international levels. While some EGN research projects provide general but original understandings of genomics, others lead to specific policy recommendations.

Policy briefs: Policy Briefs summarise the contents and policy implications of our academic outputs. The fact that these are based on refereed academic publications will give policy makers the reassurance that the evidence on which the policy brief is based is well grounded.

EGN Responses to Public Consultations: Individually and collectively, EGN centres routinely respond to public consultations on genomics and society.

Briefing and policy papers are also disseminated through websites such as http://www.policylibrary.com/ and http://europa.eu/sinapse/sinapse/index.cfm.
