The ESRC Genomics Forum is involved in an array of artistic activities generating new creative writing inspired by genetics and genomics. 

Human Genre Project new writing in very short forms - short stories, flash fictions, reflections, poems - inspired by genes and genomics and displayed through the 24 chromosomes of the human genome.

ESRC Genomics Forum Poetry Competition 2010 in partnership with the Scottish Poetry Library, the contest attracted a global response from writers inspired to consider how work in the field of genomics is helping us by `improving the human.`
