Drinks at 5.30pm in the Upper Gallery at Talbot Rice will be followed by a discussion, led by host Alistair Gentry and his guests, exploring the ways in which creative professionals work with scientists or are inspired by scientific ideas, and what this process is like for the scientists themselves.
Alistair’s guests are Elio Caccavale, Artist and Associate Lecturer on Product Design at Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design, Jon Spooner, Artistic Director of Unlimited Theatre and Vlatko Vedral, Professor of Quantum Information Science at the University of Leeds.
There will also be a chance to discuss (with the Talbot Rice Gallery’s Principal Curator Pat Fisher) plans for an exhibition inspired by the University of Edinburgh’s Charles Darwin connection.
