The EGN is a multidisciplinary environment which encourages a lively postgraduate community from a wide range of backgrounds. To find out more about our current students and their projects visit the EGN Research Students pages, and the PhD projects pages.

We also support the Postgraduate Forum for Genetics in Society, The PFGS is a volunteer postgraduate forum which seeks to bring together researchers interested in how biosciences and society intersect.

The EGN welcomes applications from prospective students at postgraduate level.

PhD Applicants may apply to do a 1+3 programme, starting with MSc or MA and continuing - subject to satisfactory performance on that programme - to a PhD. Or, with an appropriate Masters degree in hand, they may apply for direct admission to the PhD programme. To discuss a prospective application, please contact the research centre at which you wish to study.
