Information for Public
Welcome to the Genomics Network Web page for the public, which includes easy-to-understand information about the research carried out by the Genomics Network in the exciting and emerging field of genomics and new genetic technologies. The Network engages in various activities aimed at the public including special events, information leaflets, educational resources and much more.
The EGN has already hosted various Artists in Residence in order to develop alternative ways of communicating our work to wider audiences. We also run a Café Scientifique in central Exeter and host public events in Edinburgh, Lancaster, Cardiff and Milton Keynes, which feature talks on subjects related to our research.
The EGN also regularly organises public events and talks as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
EGN staff also give talks and workshops at schools.
