The results of the Representing Genes project were announced at a media friendly seminar on 13-14th May. Attendance was by invitation only.

Because many of the HPS/STS participants were not familiar with recent work in science communication a discussion document was prepared containing a rough literature survey of empirical research on the dissemination of genomics, together with a fairly extensive Endnote database of references on that topic. These can be downloaded, along with the draft conference program from: Conceptual Issues in the Dissemination of Genomics Workshop.
