A two-day workshop held in Edinburgh funded by the ESRC Genomics Policy and Research Forum at the end of 2004 to provide a forum for discussion of key issues affecting vaccine partnerships, particularly Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), in developing countries. The workshop was also used as a starting point on which to strengthen research collaborations between social science researchers working in the area of vaccine partnerships. Participants at the workshop came from universities, national ministries, multi-lateral bodies, international public-private partnerships and non-governmental organisations.
