Philosophical and Social Dimensions of Microbiology Workshop
Date Released: 21 April 2006July 13th-14th 2006. A workshop exploring a range of profound philosophical issues in microbiology in relation to their broader social implications.
Confirmed speakers include Professor Jan Sapp (York, Toronto), Professor James Shapiro (Chicago) and Professor Carol Cleland (Colorado). The Wellcome Trust is providing funding for travel and accommodation for up to four graduate students.
