Søren Holm holds first degrees in Medicine and in Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Copenhagen, a Masters degree in Health Care Ethics from the University of Manchester, and two Doctoral degrees in Medicine (Medical Ethics) from the University of Copenhagen.
Apart from his Professorial Fellowship at Cardiff Law School he holds a permanent visiting Chair at the Section for Medical Ethics, University of Oslo.
His research interests covers the whole field of biomedical ethics and the philosophy of medicine.
